Wildcat Village

The Wildcat Village will be our residential training camp. The Village will incorporate a model village, with cabins showcasing different appropriate construction materials and methods, as well as a model garden and farm. Power in the Village will be supplied from a variety of alternative energy systems, including wind, solar and pedal generators. Training sessions, lasting from two days to two weeks, will be scheduled throughout the year, and will include practical training, training in cross-cultural outreach and, for Christian groups, Bible-based training.

Volunteers are welcome to participate as we build the Village and infrastructure. Particular plans include:

• A straw-bale cabin
• A rammed earth cabin
• A passive solar, earth sheltered greenhouse
